Located in the heart of the development project “Paris Nord-Est”, the rooftop terrace of the freight hall Chapelle International, which has been specifically conceived to receive an ambitious urban-agriculture project, displays exceptional potential.
Chapelle International freight hall’s rooftop terrace has been specifically designed to receive a project of urban agriculture: it offers a surface of  7,061m2.

CONTRACTUAL MODALITIES
Starting from its entry into force, the duration that has been considered for the future agreement will be suggested by the candidate. The minimal duration is 3 years and maximal one 20 years. This duration will have to allow for the entirety of the investments to be defrayed. The candidate will be able to propose a duration of agreement justifying it by the investments made.

BEARING CAPACITY
Loads allowed on the naked roof (includes the weight of agricultural installations and the one linked to activities): 750 kg/m2

LAYOUT
The site has two levels: the 1,256 m2 gardens’ alley with a lower roofing, and a higher roofing that has: a 1,171 m2 space that allows for greenhouses to be installed, a 2,845 m2 free space and a 1,200 m2 space with a 35-cm layer of soil to which must be added the sports grounds’ 589 m2 of planters.

ACCESS
Vehicles access the site from the logistics base’s underground, then use a lift.

PUBLIC ACESS RESTRICTIONS
People other than the laureate’s workers will be able to access the site, especially the gardens’ alley. The candidate’s attention is drawn to the necessity to meet the regulatory requirements in order to allow public access.
